Client: Marks & Spencer Merry Hill
Project: Light Touch
In the second quarter of 2008 WB Projects completed a refurbishment of the 100,000 square foot M&S store, on two sites within the Merry Hill Shopping Centre in the West Midlands.
The scope of works involved replacing the flooring and the external fascia signage. The external elevations, customer fitting rooms, toilets and the café were all updated incorporating enhanced climate control, an acoustic ceiling and new lighting. New selling equipment and directional signage was installed in a phased programme and a number of new design concepts introduced.
This major refurbishment project transformed the selling environment on all 4 sales floors and work was completed within the planned 12 week programme with zero defects and costs within budget.
