Client: Marks & Spencer Kings Road
Project: Development
Marks & Spencer Kings Road was a successful project which took place over the Spring and Summer of 2007. This £2.5 million project was a development to enlarge the existing store by 5,000 sq. feet. A basement area was created, complete with 'Back of House' to sell an extensive collection of the Menswear catalogue. The ground floor was extended to relocate Womenswear and allow for the introduction of Kidswear.
WB Projects undertook all the structural works for the infill of floors, new display windows, new timber/steel staircases with attractive glass balustrades whilst undertaking a cosmetic facelift to the store with decoration, new flooring, enhanced lighting and new graphics with new loose equipment installed.
The project was completed on a 16 week programme and the Practical Completion date was retained as well as incorporating additional works and variations in the programme.
