WB Project NewsSince starting up WB Projects has achieved consistent growth and has completed more than 60 development projects, refurbishing over 1 million square feet of selling space. Marks and Spencer have continued to use WB Projects for new concept, complex and high profile work where our reliability, high standards and customer responsiveness are required. We were delighted that this was recognised when we received an award from the Head of Construction at Marks and Spencer for "consistently delivering quality projects on time." We would like to welcome our new trainee QS, Anthea McDermott, who joined us in autumn 2008. Anthea will be working with Yaeger Rolfe and helping to increase our focus on environmental issues associated with Timber reporting and Smart Waste. Congratulations to Anthea as we have recently achieved FCS certification. Congratulations also to Yaeger who, following her sabbatical, has gained her degree in Construction Management. We are pleased to announce that WB Projects have recently joined the Prince's May Day Network. This involves us working along side other business organisations to develop and improve our environmental performance and is further evidence of the importance we attach to the whole issue of the environment and sustainability. Late in 2008 we successfully completed the relocation to new office accommodation in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Please see our new address details. In addition to a number of store refurbishments we are currently project managing an extensive roll out programme of minor works across the whole of the UK. We are also working hard to widen our customer base and are currently in discussion with a number of potential new clients. |
